What is New England FanCon?

A celebration of all things fandom and pop culture, New England FanCon offers family-friendly fun for fans of all ages. From anime and comics to cartoons and video games, find something for everyone!

Our vendors offer everything from figures, manga, trading cards, video games, art, and more! Discover a new favorite indie game from a local creator, or embrace the nostalgia of finding that perfect Pokemon card.

Once your bags are full - come hang out in one of our many panels! From interactive sessions like Comic Design 101 to breaktime viewings of our music and cosplay contests, our full schedule of fandom panels feature a wide range of interests.

Who should attend New England FanCon?

New England FanCon strives to create a friendly environment for fans of all ages to enjoy the close of the con season with a last hurrah!

While this is not an event designed for children, we welcome little ones who are accompanied with an attentive parent or guardian! Please note, while our con's aisles are accessible to wheelchairs, we recommend leaving bulky strollers in the car.

How can I attend New England FanCon?

Registration will be opening in spring! Sign up for our email list to be the first in the know!

As an EXCLUSIVE pre-order bonus, attendees who purchase tickets prior to May 31st, 2026 are invited to pick up their badges early on Friday, August 14 in the Trumbull Marriott Shelton lobby from 7:00pm - 9:00pm. Skip the con morning line!

Badges will not be shipped in advance. Please ensure you have proof of ID that matches the name on the account that purchased tickets.

What does it cost to attend New England FanCon?

To celebrate our launch, the first 200 tickets sold will cost $17 for Single Day Passes and $30 for Two-Day Passes. After that, Single Day Passes will cost $22, and the Two-Day Pass will cost $37. Pricing will increase closer to the event.

Children between 6 and 12 years of age may attend for a discounted rate of $5 on our registration site when purchased with an adult pass.

Children under 5 may attend at no cost when accompanied by an attentive parent/guardian. Children under 5 do not need to reserve a ticket.

What is the refund policy for New England FanCon?

Please send an email to our support team at nefanconhelp@gmail.com to request a refund. Refunds requested prior to July 1st, 2026 at 11:59 PM will be granted in full, minus the cost of credit card and processing fees. Refunds requested between July 2nd and July 24th, 2026 at 11:59 PM will be granted at 50% of the purchase price, minus the cost of credit card and processing fees. No refunds will be granted starting July 25th.

How can I become a vendor for New England FanCon?

Are prop weapons allowed with my cosplay?

Cosplay props such as foam swords and blasters are permitted at New England FanCon as long as they are not live weapons. No metal/hard weaponry or sharp items are permitted at any time at the event. Cosplayers with fake weapons as part of their costume will be asked to visit the information desk at the entrance of the convention for a marking to show the prop has been checked and permitted into event spaces.

How can I become a sponsor of New England FanCon?

Does New England FanCon Validate Parking?

The Trumbull Marriott Shelton offers 400 free parking spaces available first-come, first-served. Extra free parking can be found just across the street in the shopping center parking lot. Carpooling is encouraged!

Can I suggest/run a panel?

We welcome all suggestions! Fill in this form with your pitch and any relevant experience, and we'll contact you in mid 2026!

Please note, New England FanCon relies on panelists to arrive on time for their panel(s). To ensure accountability, all selected panelists will be required to purchase an admission ticket for their presenting day. This pass will be refunded in full once the panelists complete their panel onsite. In the case of a no-show or significant delay that causes the panel to not be run, this pass will not be refunded. If a panelist chooses to purchase a two-day pass and only presents on one day, they will be refunded for the rate of a single day pass at the time of their original purchase. Can I bring in outside food/beverage?

Outside food and beverage is not permitted within the Trumbull Marriott Shelton. The hotel offers a restaurant on site, as well as plenty of eating and shopping opportunities just across the street and in the local area.

New England FanCon will also be inviting a variety of food trucks from 11:00am - 3:00pm on Saturday and Sunday. These will be located in the hotel parking lot on the shopping center side.
